OUR PHILOSOPHY
At
Little Treasure Books,
we
strongly believe in the creativity and
genuine talent of many writers whose voices
would go unheard if it were not for the
independent publisher. Twelve years
ago, the company’s owner took a leap of
faith, along with the economic risks
necessary, to introduce new authors to those
readers looking for books that offer hope,
encouragement, and inspiration. We sincerely accept
this responsibility, and remain dedicated and
determined to give these gifted writers the
opportunity to have their stories told.
OUR MISSION
Our mission is to
publish books of integrity that speak to the hearts,
minds, and souls of our readers . . . gently putting
them in touch with their inner core, ultimately
offering them a place of solace. . . a place where
they can be who they are and at peace wherever they
are along life’s journey.
OUR GOAL
It
is our objective to remain selective in
choosing the books we publish. In
doing so, Little Treasure vows to uphold the
highest of standards and produce only those
books that will inspire, enrich, and leave
readers with a positive message.

Tears and Laughter
Tincture
of Tears and Laughter,
by Marcos Krausz, M.D.,
is an amusing book of vignettes that describe true experiences in a
hospital operating room witnessed by retired anesthesiologist, Marcos
Krausz.
You are sure to find these real-life stories witty, entertaining,
and educational.
In the second part of the book, titled “Alternative Treatments
for Cancer, The Common Denominator,” Doctor Krausz shares responses by
cancer victims from a psychological standpoint, underlining the
importance of a positive outlook and mind over matter.
From the Publisher
This book is
enjoyable, witty reading, especially for those in the medical field who
will personally relate to many of the stories.
Excerpt:
Is there a command post out there that tells a trillion cells at a
given moment how to divide and multiply until a wound is closed? Or is
this "SOMETHING WHICH WE DON'T KNOW" within each cell, the "Beyond That
is Within" of Hinduism, an impersonal "Absolute" at the core of one's
being? Or a personal God experienced as distinctive from oneself?
"The wise man shuts his eyes to outward things and beholds the glory of
the 'Atman' within," say the Upanishads. Three thousand years later
Gandhi said, ''Turn the spotlight inward."
TINCTURE OF TEARS & LAUGHTER, PART II, ALTERNATIVE
CANCER TREATMENTS, THE COMMON DENOMINATOR,
By Marcos
Krausz, M.D.
"The importance of a positive outlook is very well understood by those
who offer "alternative treatments." In other words, even the absurd
might help. However, hope should never be an expensive commodity, and a
cancer patient, of all people, should never be charged an exorbitant
fee!"
